Microsoft Windows-based Motion F5v Tablet PC.
Prior to using Field Eagle, PSI conducted inspections using pen and paper in the field. This method resulted in a time consuming process for creating client reports as inspection data needed to be manually entered into a spreadsheet so that a report could be created. Report delivery to clients took one month.
Since PSI would only get paid by their client when the final reports were completed, shortening the inspection-to-report time would have great business value, freeing up time to take on more clients and conduct more inspections.
