An MSHA mining inspection checklist is used to ensure that surface and underground mining operations comply with Mine Safety and Health Administration regulations under 30 CFR Parts 56 and 57 before each shift and during periodic safety reviews.
To use this checklist, a competent person should inspect all working areas of the mine before miners begin work on each shift.
