The Field Eagle inspection system includes two parts: The FE Server, where an administrator manages inspectors, clients, assets, inspection templates, and reports; and the FE Tablet which inspectors use to carry out inspections and generate reports.
You rely on your inspectors to accurately carry out inspections to ensure operations run smoothly for you and your clients. The Inspector Module feature allows you to manage all your Inspectors and their assigned inspections. In addition to this, Field Eagle provides the following Inspector management features:
The Inspector dashboard will give you quick visual data of all current Inspector Activity and the most currently active and completed inspections.
The Inspector Performance reports displays all inspectors in the system, their average condition rating, and number of average pass and fail inspection points.
Keep all your inspection related data in one place. Field Eagle’s Data Management module allows you to manage all your data assets such as documents, standards, regulatory bodies, inspection items, and inspection templates. Other high level data such as common question answer types can be stored in this module. When it comes to managing many items, Field Eagle includes the ability to categorize items so that they are organized and easy to locate.
Build custom inspection templates and checklists which can be duplicated and customized for any inspection. This allows for the full inspection protocol to be designed externally prior to the inspection. Field Eagle is designed to be a flexible and powerful inspection software that can handle complex inspections, which is why Field Eagle templates contain unlimited item hierarchies to ensure that any asset, no matter how complex, can be accurately inspected.
Choose from a selection of inspection and checklist templates and checklists from our library commonly used by industry.
Field Eagle has the unique ability to handle a spectrum of complex inspections. We understand that an asset being inspected may contain items that have multiple child items and with child items of their own. This is why we built Field Eagle to have an unlimited item hierarchy so that inspections can be as thorough as possible.
Maintain your clients and locations within the Field Eagle Inspection system and create inspections that correspond with assets belonging to them. You and your clients will benefit from Field Eagle’s suite of reports to gain a thorough insight into the status of all collateral assets.
The health of your assets is integral to you and your client's business. Field Eagle inspection software allows for in-depth inspections with unlimited item hierarchies to assess the condition of your assets. Our reporting suite will give you precise insight into the fitness of your assets, and any serious defects and immediate actions if needed.
The Asset Condition Report displays a selected asset condition over time and includes a list of inspections completed over time. The report can be generated by Client, Location, or Asset.
The Punch List Report highlights the compliance of items which are marked as Critical, Major, or Minor.
The Final Compliance Report is a comprehensive report that includes a cover page, client detail page, Inspector-Client inspection sign off, Charts, Item Hierarchy list, and Punch List Report. In the Item Hierarchy list, Items are labelled as non-accessible, removed, and accessible reviewed.
GEO tagging enables users to collect photographic documentation of objects and features at a specific place and time. It is an efficient way of collecting data in the field and provides proof of inspection. Administrators can view on a map the locations photos were taken, which photos belong to each inspection, and quickly identify the asset's level of criticality.
Field Eagle reports expedite report writing through report templates, thus reducing office work in the writing of reports. Field Eagle server reports will give you precise insight into server activity, inspector performance, and the fitness of your assets, including any serious defects and immediate actions if needed.
The Inspector Performance reports displays all inspectors in the system, their average condition rating, and number of average pass and fail inspection points.

With the Field Eagle tablet, Inspectors are very mobile and can conduct inspections anywhere with or without a network connection.
The Field Eagle tablet software will run on any Windows 10 (plus), iOS, or Android tablet.
Field Eagle offers rugged, non-rugged, and intrinsically safe tablet options are available, or you can provide your own devices.
Inspectors can securely synchronize with the Field Eagle Server to get the latest inspection updates and to send completed inspections back to the server.
The Field Eagle tablet transmits inspection data over a secure sockets layer (SSL) connection, so that inspection data is only known by the server administrator and inspector.
Out in the field, Inspectors have the ability to add items to an inspection that may be missing ensuring that inspections are comprehensive and accurate.
The Field Eagle tablet software allows inspectors to add notes to items being inspected and take photos (if the tablet is equipped with a camera). Furthermore, photos can be marked up to make a defect on the item more obvious.
Field Eagle features the ability to scan barcodes and RFID codes while adding items to inspect or to searching for an item within the items list. By using bar coding technology, the Field Eagle System provides a uniformity across all inspections consistently, no matter who is conducting the review. Companies who need to work globally and conduct their business in the same manner will reduce their risk and liability by ensuring all work carried out is to the same standard, the same way, and with genuine reporting outcomes.
Serious Defect Notifications (SDN) raise red flags where defects occur and allows an Inspector to record crtically required actions and provide explanations related to the defects which will appear in the SDN Report in the Final Report.
While conducting an inspection, Inspectors can compare current answers to the answers with the previous inspection and also compare any previous deficiencies. The inspector can immediately see prior issues and can verify if the problem has been rectified and/or has re-occurred.
Once an inspection is complete, the Inspector will generate a Final Report which must be signed off by both the Inspector and Client before it can be synchronized with the Field Eagle server.
Inspectors can generate a report at any point in the inspection to get an overview of the criticality levels of the asset being inspected. In addition, Inspectors can generate reports from the previous inspection for comparison. Inspector can generate the following reports:
The Punch List Report highlights the compliance of items which are marked as Critical, Major, or Minor.
The Final Compliance Report is a comprehensive report that includes a cover page, client detail page, Inspector-Client inspection sign off, Charts, Item Hierarchy list, and Punch List Report. In the Item Hierarchy list, Items are labelled as non-accessible, removed, and accessible reviewed.
At the end of each inspection, reports are synchronized back to the Field Eagle server. Field Eagle reports are extremely efficient because they expedite report writing through report templates and are structured to track field data with photographs, the use of consistent questions and answer templates, and the assistance of procedures and standards being available thus reducing office work in the writing of reports. This will increase the utilization of the auditors/inspectors and allow improved profitability.
